Homotopy Perturbation Method and the Natural Convection Flow of a Third Grade Fluid through a Circular Tube

Abstract: The natural convection flow of a third grade fluid through a circular tube has been computed using the homo­topy perturbation method (HPM). A sequence of successive approximations has been obtained in the solution for important physical parameters, and the convergence of the sequence is accomplished by using the Padé approximants. It is shown that there is an excellent agreement between the results obtained by the HPM and the exact numerical solution.
