Application of Ancient Chinese Mathematics to Optimal Problems

Abstract: The basic idea of an ancient Chinese algorithm is used to solve optimal problems. The basic solution procedure is to choose two trial values, making the Langrage function has the same value. The method is also valid for the cases when the Lagrange multiplier method becomes invalid, some examples are given.
